Description
This polyester banding tape is engineered for demanding electrical insulation environments. It is a parallel-wibed glass-based tape impregnated with an uncured or pre-impregnated resin system, offering excellent dielectric strength, arc resistance, and reduced flashover risk. The resin system combines modified polyester resin with thermosetting epoxy and polyimide components to deliver robust performance under high-temperature operating conditions. The tape is moisture resistant and suitable for motor windings, transformers, and other electrical/electronic assemblies where reliable insulation and mechanical reinforcement are required. Typical applications include winding insulation, component isolation, and protective wrapping in motors, generators, and electrical control systems. The product can be specified for Class B, F, or H insulation needs, supporting operation up to 130°C, 155°C, or 180°C respectively depending on the chosen thickness and width.

Standards and testing references
-
Compliance and testing standards should be referenced from the supplier’s data sheet where available, including dielectric strength, arc resistance, and insulation class performance under temperature. Include standard test methods such as dielectric breakdown voltage, shrinkage under heat, and moisture resistance tests per applicable IEC/EN standards for insulation materials.
